Short info about the group:
The band performs regularly not only in a family Buenos Aires but throughout Argentina and other South American countries (Brazil, Chile, Venezuela). In 2008, the first time a group of touring were placed on the old continent and its music conquered Europe. Since then, many times successfully performed at many prestigious events and festivals tango in Belgium, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, the Netherlands, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the Czech Republic.
The orchestra was founded in 2006 in Buenos Aires.
Members Sexteto Milonguero: 2 violins (Marisol Canessa and Gustavo Garay), bandoneon (Mauricio Jost), Piano (Juan Rivero), bass (Cristian Sepulveda) and singer (Javier Di Ciriaco).
Sexteto Milonguero’s repertoire is absolutely unique, new interpretations of tango standards, played by the orchestra in the 40’s of the 20th century called Golden Age of Argentine tango. In its execution also weaves some element of Argentine folk music, and the spirit of music Cuarteto.
The combination of magic and outstanding Argentine tango musicians makes Sexteto Milonguero each show an unforgettable experience, creating a unique atmosphere.
